Dr Jerry O Driscoll is our inhouse doctor. Botox smooths lines and wrinkles and works effectively on many parts of the face and neck. It is commonly used to treat forehead lines, frown lines, and lateral canthal lines or crow’s feet. It can also be used to elevate the eyebrows, as well as treat undereye lines and lines on the nose commonly referred to as bunny lines where appropriate. In the lower face Botox can be used to treat smokers lines around the mouth, down turning of the corners of the mouth, and dimpling of the chin. It can also be used to slim the lower face, to treat prominent bands of the neck and to reduce the amount of gum show in patients with a "gummy smile". Botox is also widely used to treat excessive sweating from the armpits, hands and feet as well as scalp and face.
